The Bald-Headed Trust: A New Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Lovers of Sherlock Holmes mysteries will enjoy this new story, written today but as faithful as possible to the characters, heroes, villains, language, and setting of the original Canon.

Dr. Watson insists on taking his friend on a short vacation to the seaside in Plymouth. What begins as a tedious journey quickly turns into a puzzling case. Holmes visits a small Christian bookstore and learns about two unexplained murders. It appears that the motive was a major bank robbery? Or was it?

The great detective, aided by some unusual recruits to the Company of Irregulars must match wits first with bank robbers and eventually with the evil professor himself.

New Sherlock Holmes Mysteries by Craig Stephen Copland are all written as if they were traditional stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Each one is inspired by one of the stories in the original Canon. They are set in late Victorian England and use similar characters and elements of the plot as are found in the original story, but then take off into a completely new mystery. Eventually there will be a new mystery that corresponds with each of the original sixty stories. A new one will be released every month (usually).
