Max has been a bingo caller for two years, on his first day he meets Wendy, who is the new girl who serves in the cafe. Neither of them wants to stay after their first week, but they both continue to work at the bingo hall in case they never see each other again.

Erica is a local taxi driver and Luke’s mum, she has been driving the winners and losers from the bingo hall for years. She made a bet with the doorman, Noah, that if he got the tattoo he always wanted she would spend the night with him.
