This short work attempts to find compatibility between social constructivism and biblical Christianity, without being unfaithful to either of these. Includes discussion of constructivism, reification, absolute truth, and interacting with Truth from both relational and rational cultural knowledge systems. Additionally includes a brief consideration of the religious understanding of being as viewed through evolutionary, subjective and original monotheistic positions. Concludes with the implications of social constructivism in intercultural competence and how this may be experienced by followers of Jesus. The primary audience is North American, though others may find the considerations herein to be useful and applicable to their context.
