Pulp fiction writer Betsy has to think fast when Rose, a member of her writing group, asks for help. Rose has left her romance novel manuscript in gangster boss “Pistol Pete” Pazzini's office, and if he finds out she's looked at his hit-list, she's dead! Luckily Betsy has assistance from her lead character, Bonnie, a beautiful femme fatale who becomes more real to Betsy than ever in her hour of need.
