Ms. Veronica's I Like Me

People of color, including the President, are experiencing attacks and rage as never before. No one understands why this sickness refuses to allow healing. Healing will not come without understanding. Understanding comes with knowing who we are and liking and loving who we are. We must get back to reminding each other, our children, and others that we are lovable and significant.Ministering to children about who they are and helping them to like themselves is as important today as it was during the James Brown, say it loud, " I m black and I'm proud" time. We must continue to nurture love and appreciation of ourselves in our children. This book teaches understanding and love of self by directing young people to taste the food and make an effort to really see the animal or person to determine who and what to like, no matter the size, shape, or color.
