Hamelin

The story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin has made the town famous and a festival is underway to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the story. Emiline has taken it upon herself to help tourists find their way around the town when she chances on Pfeifer. Believing him to be an actor hired by the mayor to perform for the festival, she agrees to take him to town hall.

Soon, however, Emiline makes a discovery about Pfeifer, one that fills her with fear. Pfeifer takes her prisoner and demands she take him to town hall. Unwilling but unable to resist, she does as she is told. Who is Pfeifer and why has he come to Hamelin?
