The Burning Man Anomaly

In the first eXBureau casefile, The Burning Man Anomaly, Ralph and Marla track down a phony psychic in 1937 Washington, DC, and find themselves on the wrong end of Tesla technology after a bogus European Count at a seance burns to death from the inside out. Complicating the investigation, Ralph is sidetracked by an undercover assignment given him by J. Edgar Hoover tracking down foreign gunrunners. On her own, Marla delves deeper and deeper into the world of spiritualism and the psychic bond she has formed with Ralph until the very spirits themselves appear.
