Fairy Daze and the Sleeping Princess

A hilarious play for children. Extending the old fairy tale of the Sleeping Princess and bringing it up to date, Kate Lyons has packed it with humour. Daze is a scatty novice fairy. Her wand is a communication device. She is helped - or perhaps hindered - by a pair of elves and the other fairies in her troop. The Fairy Queen has charged Daze with responsibility to ensure a happy ending, but neither the Prince, nor the Princess is what is expected. And then there is the the wizard to contend with.

The Fairy Queen is a little out of touch with the modern world, and Fairy Daze is neither experienced nor focused. The result is a play that is :great fun for the kids, and heartily enjoyed by their parents too.
