Spider in a Web Crochet Project #755

Crochet a spider and her web and captured prey (fly) for a Halloween decoration. An easy to crochet pattern which includes directions for making sugar starch to stiffen the web, upon which the spider and fly will sit. The spider can also be made without the web, with a crocheted chain for a silk strand from which to hang her on the wall (legs need be stiffened with the sugar starch solution).
