Tabitha’s family had grown up and left home. She was divorced and retired and she was lonely. This was probably why she had taken it upon herself to feed the wild cats living under a motorway bridge near to her home. It was her hobby. The cats were her substitute children. The place under the bridge was becoming a rubbish dump. Why didn’t the council do something about it? Vagrants lived there. Then, she came across a street child living in the rubbish.
