DECODED! Vol 1 contains a sampling of 100+ Anatomy & Physiology Terms from the collection of 3500+ Terms and their morphology "dissected" down to their basic roots. It lists the 15 volumes for each system of the course. For example, Vol 7, The Nervous System, contains 300+ Terms, organized alphabetically. Except for an introductory A&P in select high schools (U.S.A.) there is no subject, nor pre-requisite college course that prepares Health Science majors for the large volume and unique challenges of A&P nomenclature. The purpose is not the full understanding of the terms, but insights into their morphology from one or more Greek & Latin root(s), prefixes and suffixes. Investing on a small effort to discover the morphology of terms minimizes exhausting repetitive drills or memorization.
