Through fate with a sprinkling of Destiny, John Dough becomes a teacher by example and in that very responsible position finds that a famous writer is actually missing the ‘it’ factor in his work. John reckons that the addition of the elusive factor will elevate the man’s work and make him even more successful. Fortunately, winner of a prestigious prize for storytelling with a pen at an Age UK meeting, John comes to the realisation that his work ‘has’ that ‘it’ factor which he was obviously born with, because it can’t be trained. The famous writer’s lessons are of course ‘free’ as John requires nothing more than to mention this magnificent, kind hearted task in his CV, which will help him get a few private students (the famous writer’s fans perhaps?) … which will pay for his beer and hopefully make up a good chunk towards a new electric guitar to form an Age UK rock band called the Rock n Doughllers.
