After the first edition of this book was written, there were no plans for a second one seeing that the amount of information related to the test continued to increase both in print and online. However, in spite of this fact, there are still candidates who cannot get points because they write the answers incorrectly on the answer sheets or they are not entirely familiar with the structures of letter or essay writing.
Therefore, this second edition provides a more detailed breakdown of the types of questions found in the listening and reading sections and aims to help candidates structure their writings in formats which are desired by the markers.
Each skill tested in the exam is dealt with in a separate chapter and the information about the questions is followed by techniques, advice and tips.
