Matthew: “I made a mistake. I allowed my ex-wife to convince me that I had to go back to the kind of life I left behind, which proved unfulfilling and empty. When Amanda walks out, my jealousy gets the best of me, and I lose control because I can’t stand to face the reality that she may have another man and he’s her age.”

Amanda: “Matthew doesn’t know that I’m pregnant, but when I finally make up my mind to tell him, he gives me another surprise I’m not expecting. I plan on telling Matthew that he’s going to be a father, but I’ll do that in my own time because he’s still acting like Alecia’s puppet.”
