Towards the Frontier

Adhaira left home when she was young in search of adventure and a fulfilling life – and now, nearing middle age, she is still trying to find both.

The Frontier sits at the entrance to one of the last unfilled spots on the world map, and most of the people who live there are hesitant to let in outsiders. Adhaira and Wyn, the eager stranger she met on the journey, are given the task of venturing out into the plains. The people of the Frontier still live out there somewhere, hidden, and their ancient civilization lies in ruin around them.

Adhaira and Wyn, adventurers to the core, are quick to stumble upon something left behind by the people who once ruled the plains, and the discovery is the beginning of profound changes for everyone at the Frontier – especially Adhaira.

Towards the Frontier is a short fantasy story of exploration, discovery, and growth.
