The Great Marquess

After taking part in an audacious robbery Davy learns from his friend Welf the Goblin, about the wizard Nijan and his search for the magical diamond which he calls the Great Marquess,
Davy tells his friend Alycon the Elf about Nijan and the Great Marquess. Instantly Alycon realizes what the grave cataclysmic consequences will be if Nijan succeeds in his endeavours. He immediately goes off determined to find the magical diamond before the wizard can: and after a long protracted and very dangerous adventure; Alycon succeeds in his quest.
But unknown to Alycon, Nijan makes a tracking diamond which informs him where in the world the Great Marquess is, and he becomes determined to find Alycon and achieve his obsession to have the Great Marquess.
