The Lie Of The Land

“I have never done that with Jason.” Emma said truthfully, after the two of them rested a little.
“And I have never done that with any female.” The man said, as he helped clothe Emma.
“Maybe that is what Jason does with the women he cheats me with.” Emma said sadly. The man paused helping fasten Emma’s zip, and remained quiet.
“Do you think Jason loves the women he does that with?” Emma, zip properly fastened, turned and asked the man.
The man looked at her. In a quiet kind voice he asked. “Do you love me?”
Without hesitating or thinking, Emma answered honestly.
“No.” She said.
The man looked at Emma. Emma blushed. She felt like an idiot.
This man had just given her, arguably her greatest sexual pleasure, and yet, yes, she was sure she did not love him.
How could that be?
