Abram and the Wheel

There were many gods in Abram's time, all capable of being manipulated by offerings and sacrifices, fasting and incantations. But when Almighty God revealed Himself to Abram He demonstrated He could not be manipulated, and was sovereign, meaning unpredictable and uncontrollable. Abram learned faith and grace, stepping away from religion into a life-long walk with Almighty God.
