When Paul Parry – also known as ‘Pazza’ – was told he was going to lose his job in the British television industry, he had no idea what to do next.

But, month by month, he built a new career, moving from clueless and distressed to the work he loves and does best: writing.

A ten-year journey took Paul, a freelance blogger, copywriter, author and editor, from Brighton beach to Baku, Azerbaijan, where he worked as a sub-editor at the inaugural European Games in the summer of 2015.
