Hope's Gambit

The year is 3256 and humanity is struggling to survive a bleak existence as nearly 80% of the world’s population is wiped out in the bioclysm – a biological marvel meant to cure all diseases once and for all turned cataclysmic catastrophe. Life was made even more complicated when the bioclysm spread to plants and animals – creating a few pockets of growth riddled throughout a devastated wasteland.

Trapped within their domed cities – remnants from a better time, humanity slowly rebuilds itself. But desperate times call for even more desperate measures and laws are passed that strip away the personal freedoms from a quarter of the population in the hopes that it will somehow increase the declining birthrates and bring humans back from the brink of extinction.

Hope is a young woman with dreams of making the world a better place, but lacks the means to do so. That is until her best friend Ivy introduces her to Dr. Amelia Holden - a geneticist at BioGen Labs who puts her convictions to the test before revealing the most heavily guarded secret in all of habitat Zenith.
