Finding Wonderland

Lucy Dunne is a young woman who can’t catch a break. She’s fired from her less-than glamorous Manhattan job the day after Christmas, her younger sister has excluded Lucy from her wedding, her parents are planning her next stage in life and everyone is suspicious when Lucy returns home hoping to rediscover her role in the family. So when she visits the corridors of abandoned Holland Hotel, a property her mother’s been trying to sell for years, she doesn’t expect much, especially the telephone call she receives from a long-dead caller. In the last week of the year, Lucy suddenly finds herself transported to 1914-the year of the mysterious Holland Hotel tragedy.

There she meets intimidating, whimsical, fast-talking and absolutely mad hotel residents, who resemble characters from Alice in Wonderland; among the residents are the Holland siblings including Bianca who lives by the hands of her pocket watch and Wesley who carries the biggest secret of all.

While Lucy navigates her way through their wonderland, she discovers the truth about Holland Hotel and the Holland siblings’ part in keeping the hotel alive. Lucy will have to be honest with her family and herself and decide what she wants out of her own life. For once, Lucy will have to make her own decisions in a race to the New Year, before the hotel’s devastating history repeats itself.
