Bird Water: Appalachian Foothills

Bird Water: Appalachian Foothills by award-winning photographer Matt Zeigler captures the aquatic behavior of ducks and land birds at eastern Alabama’s Lake Mitchell. The author presents images of the Drake Mallard, Wild Peking and Black Muscovy ducks as they interact at Lake Mitchell; nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. In addition to waterfowl the author features land birds, the American Robin and Cedar Waxwing, as they fly, bathe, drink and watch for predators in aquatic environments.
