Thorns in my Boots

Ojo Makanjuola left his Village of Esa-Odo as a raw Village boy to the Army recruitment depot in Kaduna. After nine horrifying months in the 'Land of no going back' he became a Soldier and was posted to 82 Division of the Nigerian Army. The first accumulated allowances and salaries he received would have changed his life and that of his lonely mother forever as he had it all planned out.
