Ruth Beck's holiday season got brighter with her oncologist's "cancer free" diagnosis. But strange, anonymous text messages start trickling in to her phone. Alone and disturbed by the mysterious messages, Ruth connects on a busy street with Gabe, the trumpeter and leader of the Helping Hands Chairty Band. Together they walk to a bus stop near the Kovacs family bakery.
