Caught In A Trap

Samantha Cook's second story for Ocotillo Books introduces Rhonda George, a former detective in Miami as she reinvents herself in a new career selling real estate in Southern California.
Rhonda is tough. She knows she is good looking and goes out in a short skirt and tight top without bra or panties in the hot desert climate because she wants to be comfortable and she doesn't care who sees what. She carries a Glock in her purse and isn't afraid to pull it out when she needs to. Rhonda attends her AA meetings, socializes with her fellow realtors and has Jimmy - a friend with benefits. Suddenly a body turns up in a house that Rhonda was showing a client and the police consider her a "person of interest". It's a good thing she has a friend in the department, otherwise she'd be under lock and key instead of helping to figure out who did it.
