Uthan is a young skysinger*, freshly graduated from the Academy. He is sent to a remote village to begin his work, and his life. When the trip takes a disastrous turn, he begins an eye-opening journey to discover the truth of his world. Along the way, he discovers that the race of Men are not a myth, and he will be forced to make a painful decision that will determine their fate.

The only two people who have ever bought this book are my mother-in-law and my sister. Getting even the people who know me to read it is like pulling teeth. The local library wouldn't stock it, even though it costs them nothing to store an extra e-book. It must be really bad. Don't know why, to me it reads like most any other sci-fi fantasy book.
*Note: The term "skysinger" is used within this story in a manner unrelated to any use from any other story or series, and is an unavoidable necessity of the story itself. (The main character's profession is to sing to the sky every night - what would you call it?)
