The Houdini Effect

Athens has been lumbered with an embarrassing name, a father obsessed with house renovating and a younger brother equally obsessed with emulating his hero, the magician and escapologist Harry Houdini. Add to the mix - a talent quest, a crush Athens has on a boy named Troy and a series of unsettling, ghostly messages from an array of mirrors left behind in the latest house in which Athens and her family are living.
