The Internship: A Short Story

Despite being poor, Laura, an ambitious community college student from Kansas, accepts an unpaid internship in New York City at her favorite TV show, The Funny Laughs Show. Hoping to become a television producer, she tries to make a name for herself despite the weird working conditions, but things explode when her sexy, barely legal sister comes to town, wanting a part on the show and willing to do anything to get it.

"The Internship" is a short story about the high cost of working for free and what one will do and tolerate to make her dreams come true.
