I’m a U.S. finance professor and was excited to teach at the Bosnian University of Management, located in the heartland of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I went there to make a difference. My future was looking bright. I fell in love with a Serbian woman and just finished teaching my first semester. But one winter night, my girlfriend had disappeared. And no one could help me. I went to search for her and unraveled quite a mystery in the land of blood and honey.
