Morg and Ethos with their daughter Sherez embark on another adventure. This time to find out all they can about a merman they know called Nepulus. He is an old merman gifted with many powers, and with him they hope to find the answer they seek - to be rid of the mating with land dweller madness and stop the need to abandon the ocean.

Along their journey they discover something about their young one that will change their lives forever.

Chrythus is a merman who has lived a long time. He has magic and knowledge. He knows about the White Queen and knows she has plans for Morgella and Ethos's youngling. He has his own plans for her, and must stop the White Queen at all costs. Then when he discovers who their daughter is, everything changes.
