A Picture of His Grace: My Anorexia Recovery Story

I began to restrict my food intake in an attempt to control something in my life when everything around me felt out of control. It wasn't long until I had to admit I had anorexia. Hopeless, afraid, and angry with God, I lived in bondage to this eating disorder for six years. I spent much of that time giving up and giving in to the eating disorder. But through this experience, I learned to change my thoughts and express my emotions, which were two keys in my recovery. On top of that, I experienced God's love and grace in a new way.
