The Deacon

My daddy was a phony tent revival preacher that could not keep his hands off the till, women, or the bottle. When daddy was too drunk to stand up one night, he told me to do the preaching for him. A wild night of revelation, a deputy, a murder or two, and I became The Deacon. Oh, and there was a girl. Or, should I say, two?
