BETWEEN THESE THIGHS is a collection of poems written from a black-womanist perspective. More importantly, it is a creative exploration of the human condition. Within the body of this text, universal themes such as sexual expression and exploitation, race and ethnicity, oppression, gender inequality, human displacement, domestic violence, social, economic and political issues are dealt with in a thought-provoking and humourous manner.
