Hope and Courage

At eleven, Buster Hudson believes, as he is told, that he is to blame for his parent’s rage and his father’s failure to protect him. His world is a confusing place of terror, betrayal, and deadly pain, where there is no safeguard and no more closets to hide in. His only escape is through the stories he writes. From a climax, that will bring him face-to-face with those who sought to destroy him, he finds forgiveness, freedom from his guilt, and healing from a woman.
