Evie Greene was a Victorian actress whose specialty was comic opera roles. She ascended to the heights of the English theater in the early years of the 20th century. She made frequent trips to New York City, particularly in 1904 and 1908, years when she debuted in Havana and other productions. Her life ended untimely when she died in her father's home in Southampton, England in 1917. She was only 41.
