The Porcupine Farmer

Two American photo-journalists are touring the barren Karoo area of South Africa, doing research for an article on Global Warming that they hope will be published in National Geographic. Their journey leads them to a remote farm and an encounter with an old man who reminds us all of what the term "salt of the earth" really means. His stoic, dignified exterior hides a determination to succeed and a sense of humor that change them forever.
