A Deadman's File

Derek Marsden can’t believe his recent good fortune in both inheriting his nan’s home and finding himself a new lover in the shape of the beautiful and magnetic actress Charlie Pendleby.

While they are busy redecorating his new house, Charlie discovers a dusty file, whose contents have her imagining that the file’s author is a murderer. Mostly for fun and adventure, the two immediately set out on the trail of this possible killer.

For a time, fun and adventure are exactly what they get…

… but then the exciting game crumbles in the face of a startling and very grim twist.
