Based on faulty information from a corrupted spy network, Admiral Izarra sent the rebel fleet into a trap. This weakened his forces at the most inopportune time. With the UN civil war over, Prime Minister Lynch could now focus his energy on the elimination of the weakened rebels and their organization, the IAC.
