Photos of Istanbul & Ephesus

This is a companion book to “Italy, Egypt, Turkey, Oh My!” in the Alexander Co. Abroad series. A book filled with photos from Turkey as we explored Istanbul and Ephesus. This part of our trip starts in Istanbul, the city that bridges Europe and Asia, once a capital of The Roman Empire then ruled by the Ottoman Empire before the rise of the current Turkish Republic. We ventured to the ancient city ruins of Ephesus near the town of Selcuk in the Izmir province. There we glimpsed into forgotten societies of Greek and Roman people manipulated by civil and natural forces.
