Sixteen year-old Jade Leigh is moving back to Tokyo, and he is not happy about it. He has no friends, his over-bearing mom has been hired as an English teacher at his new highschool, and he has just incited the unholy rage of the baddest gang leader in the neighborhood. His only sources of protection? A skateboard, a foul mouth, and incredibly good luck. The boy determined to be hated by everyone will have to make some friends if he wants to survive this...but what's his deal? Is he American? Is he Japanese? Nope, he's just "Gaijin."
