Midway

Midway is about arson, fraud, money laundering, and disappearance. John Elliott is an ex-homicide cop, making a living as the Chief Investigator for Knowlton Investigations. This case is about a house fire in a small town and the pursuit of the girl next door. Only in this case, the girl is a sixty-five year old office manager of a charity. Our girl surprises everyone, including John.

Midway was intended to answer a question raised in Book I of "MarieAnne"--what happened to Joan? I expect to hear more of John. This novella is only a start. I hope you like meeting him, as much as I did. It's a nice story. Have fun.
