The Case of the Stolen Rings

Three boys, Alistair 13, Peter 13, and David 11 are friends and live in a small English town called Marsham. Apart from normal kids games they like to play detectives. This usually consists of following people and observing what they do or where they go. One day Alistair learns of several burglaries in the town resulting in the theft of eleven rings; nine are valuable one is a 'mood' ring and the other a Christmas cracker ring! The local police are baffled as there is no evidence of a break-in or any finger prints at each burglary location. Alistair persuades his friends they could solve these 'real' crimes. The Team as they refer to themselves as, work from their office, an old tool shed in Peter's back garden.
With the help of David's older sister Cathy the Team go about successfully solving the town burglaries.
