Sultana Awaits

The Civil War was Over, but not their Sacrifice. Robert E. Lee had surrendered and Abraham Lincoln was dead.
Jacob & Jeremiah Winslow, parolees of the worst Confederate prison camps at Andersonville and Cahaba are finally heading home. Their last step begins at Vicksburg, a journey north on the Mississippi, on a crowded Riverboat named Sultana. But that journey will be the end for one, and a transformation for the other. For in the dead of night, just past Memphis, the Sultana’s boilers will explode. The survivors are faced with a fateful choice - risk the dark, cold river or a fiery death onboard.
