We Three Queens

It’s true that queens are a game’s most truly magical, powerful pieces.
It’s a lie that only two queens lie before us.
The old queen, of serpents and crows, is rumoured to have stolen the True Cross
The young queen, of hawks and wolves, may have sworn to see the royal baby lie dead.
The new queen must decide who lies, who tells the truth.
And if she falls for the lies, then truth falls too.
