Literature Help: The Man In the High Castle

“The Man in the High Castle” by Philip K. Dick was first published in 1963. It happens to be an alternative history novel that is set in 1962.

The book tells the story of the time fifteen years after an alternative end of the Second World War. Axis Powers, Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany, are victorious. They rule the former United States. After their victory, the Axis powers establish the totalitarian rule over the United States. The book also describes the daily life.
