Hiroshi's Dragon

Hiroshi is a young boy living in a small village in pre-modern Japan. His family have been traditional kite makers for generations.

One day, he encounters a large and mysterious creature in the wilderness beyond his village. He believes it to be a dragon, if a very strange-looking one, and through patience and kindness manages to befriend it. This association leads to unforseen and wonderful events for Hiroshi, his family, and the dragon itself . . .
