Are the spirits friendly or enemy?

Penelope (Penny to family and friends) and husband Hanz are enamored with the old house given to them by Penny’s parents, but there is something strange about the run-down building abandoned by the previous owners because of strange and dangerous happenings. Is the dilapidated structure haunted as the neighbors believe, or is it just settling noises and effects? And what about the ugly mound nearby; is there some reason that nothing grows on the mound? Is it also haunted? Are the ethereal beings Penny has seen since childhood her protectors or her enemies? If the phantom spirits are a danger, how can Penny and Hanz rid their home of these unwelcome guests before it’s too late?
