God Himself Will Provide The Lamb

Can we really trust God to provide for all our needs and can we really trust Him to keep His promises?

Yes we can!

I would like to share with you a story where I was challenged by God to trust in Him for the provision of a very critical need after my landlords asked me to vacate the rented cottage I had lived in for eight years because they want to rebuild it.

When I asked God what I should do about finding a new home to live in He told me that I was to do absolutely nothing because He would provide one for me and I would not be left homeless. Which is exactly what happened.

He brought me a new home without me doing anything to find one and sixteen days after He first brought it to me I moved in. Throughout the time of waiting for Him to bring my new home to me He encouraged me with words, prophecy and teaching from friends that kept me going and built up my trust in Him.

God had His hands powerfully not just on His provision of a new home but on all the arrangements for the move because everything went so smoothly and when I found some problems with my new home on the day I moved in He moved swiftly to solve them within 12 hours.

And in obedience to God I moved back to a town I hated because it had very painful memories of a very painful time in my life and my obedience to His leading me back to that town to live was deeply healing.

Waiting on God for Him to fulfil the promises He made us can be a tough and difficult task especially when the needs we are waiting for Him to provide are critical and against a deadline but after this test of my trust in my Heavenly Father I have learnt that God will provide for all your needs if you will let Him and trust Him!
