Steadfast in Sicily

It is July, 1943, and the Allies have invaded Sicily during World War 2. An American infantry company is sent on a mission to capture a bridge behind enemy lines. Along the way it is ambushed and all the officers are killed or wounded. Sergeant Dane Shaw takes command and, with the help of a local guide named Maria, locates the bridge. Can he capture and hold it until relieved, and what is Maria’s hidden agenda?
