Distractions: A Girl's Best Friend

This E-book is a small collection of flash fiction pieces written by O. Grey. In this collection there are three flash fictions pieces. The first is a "slice of life" about a young girl and her mother at a diner. A broken family and a disagreement about sexual orientation cause quite the uproar, as the main character takes a stand of what she believes in. The second story is about a woman and her drunken view of a twisted situation. A misunderstanding leads to a humorous confrontation and an awkward apology. The final piece is a story that will make your heart squeeze, in the perspective of a child, who finds his father in a very depressed state. Each story is sprinkled with humor, but has a strong underlying message that is relatable to most audiences.
